Presentation
Chamrousse station is located at the tip of the Belledonne massif, just 30 km from Grenoble. It extends on two levels: Chamrousse 1650 and Chamrousse 1750-1700 connected by tracks and forest trails, for an area of 1300 hectares and a climax, the Croix de Chamrousse at 2250m of altitude. The resort is built in the forest, offering an exceptional panorama of Grenoble city and its valley. Chamrousse will satisfy all lovers of nature and large spaces: many high-altitude lakes, a certain botanical interest with the presence of rare species, a specific flora and fauna: a real breath of fresh air!
