Bernex is a charming mountain village resort, with its traditional buildings and numerous chalets spread over the plateau of Gavot, nestled between lake and mountains. The natural character of the valley is a pleasure for all the family. On one side, Lake of Geneva 13 kms away, satisfies those keen on all types of water sports or lakeside walking, and on the other, the Chablaisien massif overlooking the plateau of Gavot, offers a larger than normal leisure area for lovers of wide open alpine spaces.

By Road Bernex is at 12 km from Evian-les-Bains, 18 km from Thonon-les-Bains, 60 km from Lausanne and at about 50 km of 3 highway exits: Geneva (by coming from Dôle, Les Rousses), Findrol (by coming from Paris, Lyon by Annecy), Annemasse (by coming from Paris, Lyon by Nantua).
